Bruno Mars debuted another amazing track from his forthcoming LP Unorthodox Jukebox. The song is a hit, with Mars once again crafting his vintage obsessions into a sound that’s nostalgic and modern all at once. The influences are clear—Bruno’s vocal phrasing is straight out of the ’60s, the synth line is pure ’80s, and the tribal percussion backing the whole thing up would be right at home on any Kanye cut circa 2010—but the result is unmistakably Bruno.
