Listen to Lady Gaga on iHeartRadio

Lady Gaga risked the wrath of magazine mogul Anna Wintour when she leaked her latest Vogue cover online on Wednesday. She made the big reveal by tweeting a link to the cover on her social-networking site LittleMonsters.com, apologizing to Vogue editor Wintour.

The cover of the magazine's iconic September issue features Gaga in a bright pink Marc Jacobs mermaid gown and a platinum blonde wig.

In the interview, Mother Monster insists she actually has very modest goals for her music. She tells Vogue magazine that she's not looking to change the world, just help people get through the little moments. She says "I don't really make records for people to listen to and go, 'Wow, she's a genius.' I'd really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave."

Gaga previously appeared on the cover of Vogue for the March 2011 issue.

The singer told fans on Twitter Tuesday that she wanted to give them a sneak peek of the prestigious September issue, writing:

Wednesday, she tweeted:

Along with the photo, she posted, "SHH DONT TELL TWITTER/ SEPT ISSUE OF VOGUE MAGAZINE/ Sorry Anna but the underground kids deserve it. bisous!"

Thursday morning, she tweeted:

Gaga's Vogue issue will hit newsstands on August 14.
