(WENN) - Glee star Amber Riley collapsed on the red carpet at a Hollywood event in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actress was among the stars of the show attending a screening for the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood and was taking part in press interviews outside when she fainted.

She subsequently took to her Twitter account to reassure worried fans and explain she started to feel dizzy from all the camera flashes, insisting she plans to see a doctor for a check-up.

Riley writes:
