Hey!!!! It's Selena, the newest member of JV's morning show! You can catch me on WiLD 94.9 every day Monday-Friday 6a-10a. So let me tell you a little about myself. You ready? Im about to tell you my whole life story so this might take a while to read LOL. I'm a Capricorn, born on December 31. Yes, I know my birthdays on New Years Eve…I love it!! I was born and raised in Salinas, Salas, Tha Salad Bowl or whatever else you wana call it. A lot of people think I'm white, but im not…im MEXICAN LOL....I love Mexican food...actually, I take that back...i love food in general!LOL. One of my fav's in cali rolls so for some reason if we ever go out to eat together, you already know where we're going lol. I'm addicted to energy drinks… red bull, monster, rockstar…you name it, I drink it….except for redlines. I cant drink those anymore because I threw up after drinking one this one time LOL. I am a reality TV junkie!! Kendra and Keeping Up With the Kardashians are just a couple of my favorite shows. As far as movies... anything with Tyrese in it. Ladies, you already know why lol. Now heres something that shocks a lot of people when they find this out about me…I graduated from an all-girl catholic school. So yes, I got to wear those SEXY uniforms haha you know…the short skirts, the long socks. Yup…that was me!! LOL One of my favorite things is MONEY!! I love making money and then spending it on stuff I don't really need. I also absolutely love meeting new people which is one of the reasons I got into the radio biz. I started at 102.5 KDON as an intern working events and learning everything about radio that I possibly could. I was an intern for 8 months before I became an on-air jock…which I never thought would happen to me. I did weekends and middays there which made me even hungrier for success...and it looks like all that hard work paid off! I'M ON WiLD 94.9!!! lol Being on the radio is always something I thought about but I never thought I was good enough because on my way up, I had people dragging me down telling me I was wasting my time and that I would never make it on the radio. So for everybody reading this: if theres anything you want to do, don't let anybody stop you…but always remember to have FUN!!
